Superintendent

*Join Our Team* Advanced Window, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Glazing Superintendent to oversee field operations for storefront, curtain wall, window, and related building envelope projects throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. We're looking for an experienced field leader with a strong background in commercial glass and glazing who can effectively manage crews, coordinate field operations, solve problems in the field, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently. _*What You'll Do*_ * Oversee field installation activities across commercial glazing projects. * Lead, coordinate, and support Foremen and field crews. * Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules. * Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and installation requirements. * Monitor project progress, installation quality, productivity, and safety. * Work closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues and maintain project schedules. * Coordinate with General Contractors, subcontractors, and other trades. * Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements. * Support the training and development of Foremen, Lead Installers, and field personnel. * Visit active job sites throughout the DMV region and provide field leadership as needed. _*What We're Looking For*_ * Significant commercial glass and glazing experience required. * Strong experience with storefront and curtain wall systems required. * Previous experience as a Glazing Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Glazier, or similar field leadership position. * Strong knowledge of commercial glazing installation practices and field operations. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. * Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple priorities. * Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices. * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. * Experience with pre-glazed window systems, ACM panels, and other building envelope products is a plus. * Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills is a plus. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. * Valid driver's license required _*Preferred Qualifications*_ * Experience with pre-glazed window systems, entrances, and related glazing products * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification * Equipment certifications (forklift, aerial lift, etc.) are a plus *Company truck provided.* Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; company-paid life, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage; 401(k); paid time off; and additional company benefits.
