Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairfield, CA, for a 3D Printing Engineer at Travis Phoenix Spark. The 3D Printing Engineer will design, prototype, and manufacture 3D-printed components in support of military operations and problem-solving projects. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams, managing 3D printing operations, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools to bring innovative solutions from concept to reality. The 3D Printing Engineer will also contribute to refining processes and ensuring high-quality results that align with project specifications and operational requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in 3D Printing and production of prototypes and componentsStrong Communication skills for collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholdersBackground in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design with experience in innovative problem solvingExpertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating detailed design specificationsAbility to analyze and optimize processes for efficiency and qualityPrevious experience in aerospace or defense sectors is a plusBachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field
