Electrical Apprentice

The Electrical Apprentice works closely with a Journeyman Electrician to maintain the department’s performance. Day-to-day tasks would include assisting our install technicians by providing support. The apprentice will also provide exceptional customer service and support. At least 1 year of electrical experience, preferably residential Possess strong and effective communication skills and technical competence Takes direction and follows processes • Fluent in English (reading/writing) Able to pass DOT physical/drug screen and background check Possess a valid driver’s license with a solid driving record, and can obtain a chauffeur’s license Strong planning, organization, and time management skills Complete assignments with a high degree of detail Highly motivated, flexible, and positive attitude Perform in a fast-paced environment. Analyze and solve problems Work independently and with teams Capable of working in confined spaces and be able to bend, lift, carry, stoop, crawl, sit, stand, drive, reach above, walk, push, pull, perform find manipulation, and use hands frequently throughout the shift Physical Requirements: This position requires regularly standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, crouching, working in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces, working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, using hand and power tools, and lifting/carrying equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
