Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT)

About the JobLoveland Center IncHelping adults with developmental disabilities live their lives to the fullest.Physical Therapist (PT):Full-Time and Part-Time available!Multiple Loveland Center Campuses.Loveland Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you'll provide individualized therapy services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping each person achieve greater strength, mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.What You'll Do:Provide direct physical therapy care based on individualized assessments and functional needs.Develop and implement personalized Plans of Care to help patients reach their highest level of functional independence.Reassess progress regularly and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and support staff.Document evaluations, progress notes, goals, treatments, and physician orders per organizational requirements.Ensure all therapy practices follow established standards of care and Loveland policies.Supervise and delegate tasks to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs).Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.Participate in ongoing professional development, in-service training, and community outreach when appropriate.What We're Looking For:Required Qualifications:Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.Active Florida Physical Therapist license (in good standing).Ability to care for adults with developmental disabilities with compassion, dignity, and clinical excellence.Skills & Strengths:Excellent assessment and care-planning skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to lead, supervise, and support Physical Therapy Assistants.Calm and effective response during emergencies or crisis situations.Commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.Physical Demands:Frequent standing, walking, lifting, positioning, pushing, or transferring patients.Routine reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching.Why Work at Loveland Center:At Loveland, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
