Chemist

Wasson-ECE is looking to hire for an entry-level Chemist position in the Gas Chromatography Applications Department. A successful candidate will be primarily responsible for applicating custom scientific equipment per the customer's specification. They will need knowledge to be able to create a specific laboratory test program for each system and then execute it in a timely and efficient manner to meet project deadlines. They will be expected to use analytical and problem-solving skills in order to overcome any problems that may arise during application. While mostly working independently, the hired applicant will also need to work well as part of a team. They may eventually help with customer support over the phone as well as traveling to customer sites for installation and service support.The hired candidate must be a self-starter, able to communicate clearly, and be detail oriented. They will be working as part of a laboratory team and should be able to ask for help when needed.
