Quality System & Lean Support Manager

Primary Function The Quality System & Lean Support Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of quality processes within Trina Solar. This position involves managing the Lean program, optimizing quality management systems, and coordinating Lean Improvement initiatives. Quality Systems and Lean Support Supervisor Main Responsibilities: Enhance Lean Project Management: Lead the continuous improvement of Lean project management programs to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Project Promotion and Coaching: Promote, coach, and oversee the reporting of projects initiated by the base, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Project Coordination: Collect, follow up, and organize project reports to ensure timely and accurate updates. Training Coordination: Organize and coordinate Lean Improvement empowerment training sessions to build team capabilities. Quality Management System Maintenance: Maintain, optimize, and continuously improve the quality management system for the PV module business. Internal Audit Optimization: Enhance the company’s internal audit processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Quality System Establishment: Establish and improve the quality management system for the U.S. base, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements. External Audit Management: Manage and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other related tasks as assigned by leadership. Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in quality management. Experience: Over 3 years of experience in quality work, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Quality System industry. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Six Sigma and Lean improvement tools. Quality Systems Knowledge: Expertise in quality management systems such as ISO 9000+, IEC 62941, ROSH, REACH, JIS Q 8901, etc. Software Skills: Proficient in office software, data statistics, and analytical skills. Language Skills: Proficient in English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
