Shop Technician Field Coordinator

Shop Tech Field CoordinatorA Blake & Pendleton Shop Tech Field Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily shop operations through facility upkeep, equipment maintenance coordination, material handling, and shipping/receiving activities. This role ensures the shop environment remains safe, organized, and efficient while supporting production and operational needs.The Shop Tech Field Coordinator must have the necessary safety training and certifications as determined by industry agencies (e.g., OSHA, MHSA). Shop Field Coordinators are frequently required to lift over 50 lbs. and occasionally exceed 100 lbs., climb ladders, and carry buckets of lubricants weighing between 25 lbs. & 55 lbs.Shop Tech Field Coordinator's key responsibilities are:Perform routine inspections of shop and facility areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety complianceCoordinate minor repairs and report major maintenance needsMaintain shop supplies and ensure proper storage of materials and equipmentMonitor and coordinate maintenance schedules for company vehicles and forkliftsPerform basic preventative maintenance checks (fluids, tires, batteries, etc.)Maintain maintenance logs and ensure equipment is in safe operating conditionTransport parts, materials, and equipment between locations as neededLoad and unload materials using forklifts or other equipmentEnsure proper handling and securing of transported itemsPrepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentationReceive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damageMaintain shipping/receiving records and coordinate with vendors and internal teamsAssist shop personnel with operational needs as requiredMaintain a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and proceduresOperate forklifts and other equipment in accordance with safety guidelinesShop Tech Field Coordinator's work environment is:Primarily shop/warehouse environmentExposure to varying temperatures, noise, and equipment operationFrequent standing, walking, lifting, and operating machineryRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience in a warehouse, shop support, or similar hands-on roleForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles and equipmentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift and move heavy materials (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs])Attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic recordkeeping and communication skillsCompensation & BenefitsHealth, dental, vision, STD, LTD, VOL, and Supplemental Insurances401k Plan with company matchPaid time off and holidays
