Bill of Materials Specialist (Anderson)

Mojave Energy Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Bill of Materials (BOM) Technician to support our growing manufacturing operations in Anderson, SC. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing accurate product structures and manufacturing data within our Infor Syteline ERP system, and will serve as a primary manufacturing contact for Design Engineering. This role is the backbone of manufacturing data integrity at Mojave — ensuring that the right parts, in the right quantities, with the right revisions, flow through our production lines as we ramp output. We seek purpose-driven team members who enjoy problem solving, teamwork, and personal growth to join our venture-backed company.About the BOM Technician PositionWe seek an experienced BOM Technician to ensure manufacturing data integrity at our Anderson, SC facility as we scale production of our liquid desiccant air conditioning systems. You'll own the accuracy of Bills of Materials, routings, and item masters in Infor Syteline, manage Engineering Change Orders end-to-end, and serve as a critical link between Design Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Planning. This is a hands-on role where data quality has direct, daily consequences for our ability to build and ship product. We offer a competitive salary and benefits plus a notable equity package.Primary Responsibilities· Create, maintain, and audit Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and related manufacturing data in Infor Syteline ERP, ensuring accuracy and consistency of item masters, revisions, and material structures· Process new part setup requests, revisions, and obsolescence activities; maintain ERP data integrity to support production scheduling, procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing operations· Enter and maintain manufacturing orders, jobs, and related production transactions in Syteline; review production orders for completeness and accuracy prior to release· Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and related change documentation, and coordinate implementation across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Inventory, and Production teams· Ensure engineering changes are accurately reflected in ERP systems and released documentation; track change status and communicate implementation timelines to stakeholders· Evaluate manufacturing impact, inventory impact, and operational readiness related to product changes· Serve as a primary manufacturing contact for Design Engineering on product data, BOM structure, and change implementation questions· Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, and Engineering to resolve order or data issues, and troubleshoot BOM discrepancies, missing components, and ERP-related issues· Support continuous improvement of BOM management processes, change control workflows, and data governance practicesOther Responsibilities· Spend periodic time on the manufacturing floor to support implementation activities and issue resolution· Document and improve standard operating procedures for ERP data management and engineering change controlQualifications· Associate's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical field required; Bachelor's degree preferred· 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering support, BOM management, production planning, or ERP-related role· Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation· Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required; 1–3 years of Infor Syteline experience strongly preferred· Experience managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) preferred· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data or process discrepancies· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment· Able to work cross-functionally with engineers, planners, buyers, and manufacturing personnel, and to work independently while coordinating effectively across departments· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives a plusExpected Compensation:· Base salary $55,000 – $75,000· Equity award (4-year vest) on hire.
