Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform routine visual/functional/dimensional testing per required specifications and procedures for the Quality and Assembly departmentsEnsure conformance of received componentsEnsure conformance of production to required specifications and documentation requirements through routine, in-process inspection.Ensure proper labelingEnsure proper documentation/samplingConduct applicable visual, dimensional, and functional testingComplete appropriate documentation, including release/hold paperwork/ databasesCommunicate findings real-timeProvide Quality support to production in the clean room and lab environmentPerform end of pallet case inspections for conformance to specificationsComplete appropriate documentation associated with Device History RecordsReview and/or approve:label controlsproduction Bill of Materialswork orderspallet labelingDHR paperworkWhen applicable, assist in review of rework productWhen applicable, initiate Internal Quality Feedback Reports in the Quality DatabaseKnow and Understand Quality Policy and be able to communicate to other employees throughout the organizationOther duties assignedGeneral Responsibilities/Support:Offer support in the handling of day to day production activities with minimal direct supervision and guidance.Offer input for areas for improvement in products, processes and procedures.Perform special testing, including validation testing, as requiredPerform process Audits/Inspections as appropriate.Qualifications/Skills:Educational Level:Up to a 2-year quality, technical, or related degree or 3 years related experienceComprehension/Reasoning Skills:Ability to read and understand complex instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to record results and to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to effectively and promptly communicate results from inspections.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Math Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.Other Skills and Abilities:Ability to operate standard office equipment including a photo-copier and fax machine.Prior experience using personal computer and standard spreadsheet and word processing software packages preferred.Ability to use hand-operated and touch screen-controlled equipment.Competencies/Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
