Dog Boarding Manager/ Dog Training Assistant

Job description: Oversees daily operations. Ensures medication and feed are administered properly. Ensures cleanliness of all areas. Communicates with clients through email and in person. Leads and coordinates kennel assistants. Duties include but are not limited to: Email Feeding Administering Meds Cleaning/Sanitizing Interacting with customers Exercising Dogs Bathing/Nails Washing bowls Assisting during training We are looking for someone who works well independently and on a team. Care for the pups and happy customers are top priority. We are looking for someone with customer service skills who enjoys being around dogs. This is not sedentary work. This is fast-paced and high-energy. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to lead are important. This is a full-time position 7:45am-4pm(ish) five days a week (the days of the week can vary). Pay is W-2 and based on experience, starting at $18/hr. We offer holiday bonuses of up to $100/day on major holidays. We also offer a 3% match in our company's IRA. Minimum one year experience in the dog industry is required. Driver’s license required. Experience in managing people, customer service, dog behavior, and grooming (particularly doing nails) preferred. This position could lead to Dog Training Position.
