Java Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Java Developer to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative. This role will focus on developing microservices and integrations as part of a migration from legacy systems to a modern enterprise platform.This is a fully remote opportunity, requiring availability during EST or CST business hours.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Java-based microservices deployed in AzureDesign, build, and debug APIs and integrations with internal and external systemsCollaborate with cross-functional agile teams including analysts, project managers, and functional consultantsTranslate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutionsEnsure high performance, reliability, and security of applicationsParticipate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processesRequired Qualifications:7+ years of experience in full-stack or backend application developmentHands-on development must be the primary function in most recent roleStrong experience with Java (Java 17 or newer)Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and API developmentDeep expertise in RESTful APIs and web servicesExperience working in Azure environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skillsProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldTechnical Skills:Java (17+)Spring Boot (or similar frameworks like Micronaut)REST APIs & Microservices architectureSQL and database designAzure & Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)Git or similar version control toolsAPI testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)Secure coding practices & SOLID principlesEEO Policy: Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
