Accounting System Manager

A well-established government contractor in the DMV is looking for a Accounting Systems Manager to own the Costpoint environment and lead the team behind it. This is a high-visibility seat. You're the connective piece between finance operations, compliance, and the technology keeping it all running.What You'll OwnDay-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of Costpoint across all accounting modulesIndirect rate pool setup and maintenance, coordinating across finance, compliance, and financial reporting to keep structures accurate and audit-readyYear-end processing and new fiscal year data migration. You run the playbook and you own the outcome.SQL-based troubleshooting, extensibility enhancements, and workflow redesign as the business evolvesCognos and BI reporting infrastructure, building it, improving it, and keeping the data clean in partnership with the corporate systems teamSOX and internal audit response, including PBC documentation management and direct auditor coordination across system controls and RCMsSystem implementations and upgrades from requirements through UAT, with a consistent push toward automation and reduced manual liftWhat You'll LeadA small to mid-sized team of experienced accounting systems professionals who work with real independence.
