At ENV, collaboration with clients ensures the delivery of meaningful and innovative design solutions.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role, based in Richmond, VA. The Senior Interior Designer will lead and oversee design projects from concept to completion, ensuring innovative and functional interior environments that align with client goals. Responsibilities include space planning, selecting finishes and materials, developing construction drawings, FF&E selection and procurement, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors. The role also involves mentoring junior designers, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring design excellence within budget and timeline constraints.QualificationsExpertise in Interior Design, including Space Planning and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specificationProficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings, with a strong understanding of building systems and codesDemonstrated ability to lead complex projects while collaborating with interdisciplinary teamsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts effectivelyProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative SuiteBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related fieldNCIDQ certification or equivalent is preferredExperience in commercial or corporate design is a significant advantage
