Taxonomist Metadata Specialist

A company is looking for a Taxonomist / Metadata Specialist. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing metadata structures to identify gaps and inconsistencies Define and implement a metadata, taxonomy, and ontology strategy tailored to HR and AI use cases Establish governance processes and operational rules to maintain metadata integrity over time Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information science, library science, semantics, ontology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of professional experience in taxonomy, metadata, ontology, or related disciplines Experience supporting AI-enabled or search-driven experiences using structured metadata Hands-on experience implementing metadata standards within CMS and/or enterprise search platforms Ability to work independently in a less mature or greenfield environment
