The successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment and provide interventional services at its UPMC Jameson location. HVI at UPMC Jameson, in collaboration with its Pittsburgh interventional colleagues, provides 24/7 STEMI coverage. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEE's, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps as well as peripheral angiogram and intervention by vascular surgery. HVI's service at UPMC Jameson, and nearby UPMC Horizon, together are comprised of 4 full-time cardiologists currently (2 interventionalists with 2 non-invasive cardiologists now & growing to 6 combined) as well as 10 APPs serving two suburban areas near Pittsburgh. In addition to these full-time providers, there are part-time services provided by 4 Electrophysiologists (including pacemaker clinic), a Heart Failure specialist, 3 vascular surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon, and 1 cardiothoracic surgeon. HVI's outpatient office in New Castle is located inside UPMC Jameson, as are a full range of diagnostic services including 2 cath labs. HVI Horizon-Greenville is located within UPMC Horizon Greenville, and HVI Horizon-Shenango is located across the street from UPMC Horizon Shenango.About Our CommunityChoose to live in/near the metropolitan area of Pittsburgh (e.g., Cranberry Twp.) and commute to the practice or live in one of the beautiful suburban areas near UPMC Jameson UPMC Horizon.
