Manufacturing Engineer

No visa sponsorship available.The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements improvements in the manufacturing process by studying product manufacturing methods and process flows . Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions:Provide support for continuous improvement activities:Develop layouts (AutoCad, DWG)Equipment and component design (Solidworks)Work with vendors and OEM's for design collaboration and quotingEquipment troubleshooting in coordination with maintenance teamProvide project management for larger projectsPrepare and maintain Gantt charts Other Key Responsibilities:Periodically report on progressSeek assistance when confronted with obstaclesProvide support for any major equipment and process installation and setup.Interface with equipment manufacturer, operations, maintenance, safety, qualityTrain affected employeesEstablish maintenance schedules, calibration needs, safety guarding and procedures, etc.Work with Operation Management to establish goals for improvement in Safety, Quality and productivity.Create and produce supporting documentation required for CAPEX on equipment (ROI)Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in EngineeringAuto CADSolidWorksWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Competencies:Leadership skillsTechnical skillsProblem solving skillsProject management skillsEffective communication skillsAttention to detail
