The Mount Sinai Health System's Hospitalist Division is continuing to grow with Full-time, Part-time and Per Diem positions available for Daytime and Nocturnist positions in New York and Long Island.MSSN: The successful candidate will manage and provide the clinical care of patients assigned to Hospitalist Services through the entire continuum of hospital care including, but not limited to seeing patients in the ER, on the unit, following them to the critical care unit. Hospitalist shall be responsible to ensure that each patient assigned to the service receives medically appropriate level of care on 24/7 basis. Coordinates discharge planning with the patient, family members, and care manager/discharge planner. Per Diem and Full-Time Night (Nocturnist).Mount Sinai's Division of Hospital Medicine is strongly committed to providing patientcentered care. We consider these as essential elements of the art and science of medicine.Hospitalist attendings provide either daytime or nighttime coverage for hospitalist services based on their career interests and scheduling preferences. Responsibilities include coverage of patients on the Medicine units, admissions from the emergency department, medical consultation for other services.
