Duties
Operate demolition-specific heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks with precision and safety.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Execute demolition tasks including tearing down structures, removing debris, and preparing sites for new construction activities.
Coordinate with site supervisors to plan equipment usage and ensure efficient workflow on the project site.
Maintain detailed records of equipment operation, maintenance needs, and site activities.
Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
Assist with other construction tasks as needed to support project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers or paving machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large construction vehicles including dump trucks and water trucks.
Prior construction site experience with familiarity in demolition processes and safety procedures.
Ability to operate specialized equipment confidently and efficiently.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and environmental regulations.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
