Lead Mental Health Technician

Perimeter Behavioral Healthcare of Forrest City has a great opportunity for a full-time Lead Mental Health Technician. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving our patient’s lives by using a patient centered, collaborative approach to providing high quality of care.Our Lead Mental Health Technician responsibilities include some of the following:Care for our patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shiftConduct Handle with Care, BLS and MHT Academy trainings.Precept/Train new and existing MHTs. Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shift and document patient’s behaviorModel and teach appropriate life skills to the patientsOrient the patients to the unit and assist them with daily living skillsProvide a safe, clean and therapeutic environmentProvide physical restraint or intervention if appropriate. Training will be providedQualifications for the Lead Mental Health Technician should include the following:Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
