Assistant Project Manager – Electrical ConstructionPine Brook, NJDivi Electric Inc.Divi Electric is a growing commercial electrical contractor serving North and Central New Jersey. We are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project management team with the day-to-day coordination of electrical construction projects.This position is ideal for someone with construction experience who wants to transition into project management. Field experience as an electrician is considered just as valuable as prior APM experience.ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers with the coordination and execution of commercial electrical projectsPrepare and track submittals (lighting, switchgear, fire alarm, etc.)Draft and manage RFIs and track responses from engineers and GCsHelp prepare change order pricing and proposalsCoordinate material procurement and deliveries with vendors and suppliersMaintain drawing logs, revision sets, and coordination drawingsAssist with project schedules and coordination with field foremenSupport monthly billing documentation (SOVs, change orders, project reports)Communicate with general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field teamsQualificationsElectrical field experience (electrician, foreman, or similar role) OR project management experience in constructionAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsExperience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software is a plusStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentValid driver’s licenseHealth insurancePaid time offCareer growth path toward Project ManagerAbout Divi ElectricDivi Electric specializes in commercial electrical construction including lighting systems, power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage installations.
