Job Desciption Job Title: Hot & Cold Banquet Cook Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Executive Chef FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Hot Line Cook. Hourly pay based on experience and ability. Summary: This position works in the main kitchen preparing food items for facility events Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Fulfilling the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO) in a timely manner Preparing recipes as directed Experienced in open flame grilling, sautéing, frying and flat top grilling, cold food prep Maintaining all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance Must be creative in designing attractive buffet food presentations Must take direction well Maintain clean safe working environment Other duties as assigned ACTION STATION EXPERIENCE A PLUS Qualifications To perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience At least one year experience in a professional kitchen or banquet facility preparing meals for large events. Skills and Abilities Ability to work with other staff members in the facility in a fast paced environment Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks Ability to be creative in designing attractive buffet food presentations Attention to detail Have basic knife safety skills Certificates, Licenses, Registrations No certifications are required.
