We are located at 345 S. 40th Street, Springdale, AR 72762.We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the culture, financial health and integrity of our organization through accurate accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance. As a key member of the accounting department, you will support various accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), regulatory standards, and internal controls. Your expertise will help drive informed decision-making and foster organizational growth in a fast-paced environment.DutiesPrepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliation activities to maintain the integrity of financial data.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently using ERP.Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and accruals.Support regulatory reporting requirements by preparing necessary documentation in accordance with securities law and governmental regulations.Participate in external audits and other control activities to ensure operational integrity.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments demonstrating strong technical skills.Familiarity with GAAP standards, SOX compliance procedures, and regulatory reporting is essential.Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis.Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation accurately.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for report writing and decision-making purposes.Experience with tax preparation or tax-related processes enhances your suitability for this role.Ability to collaborate across teams focused on continuous improvement.Technical SkillsNetSuite experience is strongly preferred (ERP billing, AR, AP and reporting functions).Knowledge of Avalara, Service Fusion and Quickbooks.Strong understanding of AR & AP workflows within an ERP system.Experience with payment platforms or customer portals a plus.Core CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.
