Position Title: Account ManagerTotal Compensation Range: $45,000 per yearGeneral Location: Columbus, MSHeadcount Responsibility: Approximately 5 employeesSuccess ProfileSEJ is looking for an individual who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. The right candidate brings a strong sense of ownership and accountability, experience managing hourly labor in a service-based industry, and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations: Own all daily janitorial operations across assigned portfolio, ensure all services meet quality and safety expectations, conduct inspections and safety audits, and monitor inventory and supply orderingLeadership: Hire, onboard, train, develop, and coach assigned employees. Manage staff performance, including discipline and terminations as needed, while building and maintaining a stable, safe, and reliable workforceCustomer Service: Serve as primary point of contact for client leadership, including regular walkthroughs and meetings, and resolving issues quickly and professionallyFinancial: Own labor, scheduling, payroll, supply ordering, and employee appreciation budgetsGrowth: Identify and sell additional service opportunities (tag work) and ensure successful execution. Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen overall performanceQualificationsBackground & Work Authorization: Must be able to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check if required for the position, and meet all hiring requirements, including drug screenExperience: Prior experience managing hourly labor in a service environment preferred; janitorial or facility services experience a plusLeadership: Positive attitude with the ability to accept feedback, lead teams, and hold employees accountableFlexibility: Must be willing to work a full-time flexible schedule across shifts as business needs requireHands-On Support: Willing and able to step into any role and perform operational tasks when needed, including trash removal, vacuuming and carpet cleaning, sweeping and mopping hard surface floors, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, spot cleaning glass, dusting, restocking supplies, and stripping and waxing VCT.Safety: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsCommunication & Technology: Strong communication skills and proficiency with basic computer and mobile systemsOrganization: Able to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency and customer service focusPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with janitorial operations, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and remaining active throughout the shift.Compensation & BenefitsBase salaryQuarterly bonus opportunity based on personal scorecard resultsCommission opportunities available for additional service salesPaid Time OffMedical, Dental, Vision, Life & Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401(k)High performers in this role will have the opportunity to grow within the CompanyAccess to DailyPay, allowing access to earned wages prior to payday
