Senior Analyst, Cadence and Prelude (EPIC)
Title: Epic Cadence & Prelude Analyst IIILocation: Hybrid (Schaumberg, IL or Secaucus, NJ)The Epic Cadence and Prelude Analyst III is a senior-level subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of complex, cross-functional initiatives across the patient access continuum. This role establishes configuration standards, validation strategies, and integration frameworks that unify operational, clinical, and financial workflows into a cohesive, high-performing system.Working closely with architecture, operations, and revenue cycle stakeholders, the Analyst III plays a key role in optimizing front-end processes, improving registration accuracy, ensuring compliant billing, and enabling seamless data exchange. This position also contributes to governance, change management, and ongoing innovation in patient access workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional initiatives involving Epic Cadence and Prelude to design and deliver end-to-end patient access workflowsDevelop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including validation plans, regression testing, and release coordinationDefine and maintain standards for system configuration, integration, and workflow designDrive process improvement efforts leveraging deep knowledge of Cadence and Prelude functionalityServe as the primary technical liaison to operational teams, translating business needs into scalable system solutionsMentor and guide junior analysts, supporting both technical development and best practicesOversee integrated testing efforts for major system enhancements and upgradesPromote consistency, quality, and efficiency across all patient access-related system buildsQualificationsRequired:7+ years of experience with Epic Cadence and Prelude, including at least one full implementationStrong expertise in integrations and data flow across patient access applications (e.g., Cadence, Prelude, MyChart)Demonstrated experience leading large-scale initiatives impacting patient access workflowsProven ability to facilitate design sessions and influence cross-functional stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experienceEpic certifications in Cadence and PreludePreferred:Experience managing or contributing to large-scale transformation initiativesAdditional Epic certificationsPrior project management experience
