Job Title : CMM Programmer
Location : Wichita, KS (Onsite from Day 1)
Duration : Full Time
Job Summary:
Works from Prioritized job list to generate CMM programs and update programs requiring rework/debugging. Creates detailed setup instructions for CMM operations. Some CMM operation required to support tool proving of CMM programs and first part verification.
Requirements:
CMM Programming experience preferred.
Working Knowledge of Catia V5 and V6 Required.
SAP knowledge preferred
Knowledge of GD&T and Blue Print Reading preferred.
Knowledge of basic inspection practices.
Use of precision measurement tools such as calipers Micrometers, height gages, etc. preferred.
Knowledge of 3D model concepts required (understanding plotting, vectors, and 6 degrees of freedom essential).
NC Programming Experience a plus.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing - including GD&T.
Must understand 3 Dimensional models, including XYZ=coordinates, IJK=vectors and the 6 degrees of freedom.
Strong math skills a plus
Knowledge of Polyworks and VX elements a plus.
Education:
High School Diploma required
Trade School or Mechanical Engineer Degree preferred
