What You’ll DoOperate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and other telecom equipment at job sites and during transitInstall, maintain, and repair overhead fiber optic and telecommunications lines while following industry standardsPerform general construction tasks, include lifting materials up to 50 pounds and using hand toolsFollow directions to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulationsRestore work areas by securing poles, managing cables, and ensuring proper alignment of telecom linesTravel for emergency response efforts with minimal notice, assisting with network restorationIdentify utility conflicts and ensure proper clearance for aerial telecom installationsReview and adhere to minimum approach distances for working near electrical infrastructureMaintain positive work relationships with internal teams, contractors, and utility partnersCommunicate effectively with supervisors to ensure efficient project executionPerform other duties as assigned What You’ll NeedMust be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United StatesHigh school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experienceValid state driver’s license with a minimum of two years of driving experience and an acceptable driving recordClass A CDL preferredSix months of supervised aerial telecom equipment operation experienceAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamWilling to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as neededCapable of working safely in all weather conditions, including high winds and extreme temperaturesStrong self-starter with effective communication skillsPhysical Abilities & ExposuresRoutinely: physical ability or exposure, physical ability or exposure, physical ability or exposureWhy grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
