Design Consultant (Furniture)
Join a leading B2B and B2C furniture company dedicated to creating fine antique reproductions as well as genuine European Antique and Vintage furniture.As a Design Consultant, you will deliver professional customer service to trade professionals and retail clients, handling inquiries via phone and email. You will oversee the sales process, including product details, pricing, shipping, and problem resolution. This role focuses on building strong client relationships by understanding their needs and showcasing the company’s offerings.If you have a flair for design, excellent communication skills, and a love for helping others create stunning interiors, we’d love to hear from you!What You'll DoProvide polished and professional customer service to both trade professionals and retail customers.Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide first contact (in rotation) to client inquiries via phone and email.Execute complete sale process - from start to finish, involving product information, pricing, shipping quotes, order confirmation, invoice generation, shipping documentation, and payment processing, as well as problem resolution if required.Provide and develop high-quality client relationship support by understanding client’s needs.Clearly communicate the company attributes, products, and capabilities to new clients.Business development: sales strategy and marketing planning within the sales team, researching/contacting potential clients, and customer maintenanceOther work areas: Trade show organization and preparation, as well as out-of-state showroom attendance.What You NeedEducation - Bachelor's or Associate DegreeExperience - 2-3 years within a related industryComputer Skills – Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Fishbowl (or Sales and Inventory Management system experience), Strong Computer Literacy is required.Sales and/or relevant industry sales background.Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic.Detail-oriented and highly organizedExcellent phone etiquette and ability to demonstrate patience in challenging situations.Friendly, high energy, positive, “People Person” personalityDependable, trustworthy, motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to succeed.Team player, consistent, persistent, and resilientAbility to think on your feet and provide creative solutions to challenging situationsSalary & BenefitsLocation: Los Angeles, CA 90016: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personFull-timeSalary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearSupplemental pay types: Commission payThis is a full-time, long-term position.Monday to Friday (maybe include Saturday work and Out of State Trade show participation)401(k)Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (15 days pa. inc. sick leave)
