An ideal candidate will also have recent claims processing experience.TOP DESIRED SKILLS:At least 5+ years of experience as a Scrum MasterExperience agile project teams that successfully implemented new technologies, work processes or process improvementsIdeally coming from a healthcare/claims processing knowledge (Humana, Healthcare, Client, United Health, etc...)JOB SUMMARY:As a Scrum Master, you will apply Agile and Waterfall SDLC principles, techniques and best practices in the planning, organizing and implementation of projects in a dynamic multi-team environment. You will prepare and manage project documentation, deliverables, milestones, resource management and schedules. You will also partner with business and IT in a key revenue-generating area of the company to deliver high quality output to the product portfolio.JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as Scrum Master for the implementation of IT projects due to new, enhanced or integrated functionality as well as the introduction of new product offerings.Initiate, plan, coordinate, execute, control, and close project activities with multiple Agile teams.Define and verify scope, develop project plans and timetables, and create roles and responsibilities matrix.Develop work plans for each subproject/department and prepare summary for management review.Execute and maintain project plans; review, track, monitor and report on project status; identify, track and resolve issues by proposing viable solutions.Calculate, mitigate and monitor risk, creating contingency plans and advising management, as appropriate.Introduce and maintain SDLC best practices and process improvements.Establish and maintain working relationship with all departments, stakeholders and external customers involved with project.Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsDESIRED EXPERIENCE:Minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science, or 4 years of related experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Scrum Master capacity preferably in a fast paced, rapidly changing business and technology environmentKnowledge of broad range project methodologies, frameworks, and best practices for Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFECommunication (oral, written and listening), project management, analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skillsAbility to use software and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including Jira, Confluence, and MS ProjectAbility to develop and maintain collaborative and cooperative relationships throughout the organizationAbility to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvementsAbility to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple simultaneous projects including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities as business needs dictateAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customersAbility to be flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvementsAbility to anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-setAbility to recognize and apply project management best practices to fit a variety of situationsAbility to adhere to corporate work ethic standardsPREFERRED/ NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:Experience in a Project Management Organization preferredExperience on Agile project teams that successfully implemented new technologies, work processes or process improvements preferredCertified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification (or working towards it) preferredKnowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows
