Leasing Specialist

Job Description : As an effective Lease Up Specialist, you have a great eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for working with a high volume of applicants – assisting them with application completion and questions, preparing income profiles, and ensuring compliance of the lease file for tax credit audit purposes. Languages required: Cantonese.Responsibilities Include:Answer applicant questions on the application and qualification processReview application and related documents to create an income and financial profileReview application and related documents for completeness, accuracy, and complianceEnter applicant data in Yardi (applicant and property management database)Prepare weekly and reports on application processing statisticsEnsure final applicant file is complete, accurate, and prepared for a compliance audit reviewMeet with applicants as necessaryComplete verifications of employment and referencesBasic administrative work such as copying, filing, correspondence, mail, and phonesMaintain filing systemsAssist with projects as neededPosition Requirements:Cantonese REQUIRED.Excellent communication skillsStrong computer skills including Word, Outlook and Excel; Yardi a plusSuperior organizational skills, attention to detail and follow throughGood research skillsAble to work independently, prioritize, meet multiple deadlines and work as a team memberBilingualCA driver&#39;s licenseInterest in real estate/property management and non-profit workEducationBachelor&#39;s degree is preferred and related work experience.BenefitsPTO, PST, Medical, Dental, and VisionCompensation$25/hrly
