Position Summary
Position Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative I to join our team and provide outstanding sales order entry support along with excellent phone and email communication. You will:
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries
Facilitate clear, timely communication to meet customer needs
Support smooth sales operations with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide customer service, pricing, special quote info, and product recommendations via phone/email
Process domestic and international sales orders received by phone, email, or electronic interface
Resolve non-technical issues related to delivery, lead time, pricing, and product recommendations
Review orders and notify customers of any changes (delivery, pricing, etc.)
Manage literature requests and return authorizations
Collaborate with Sales, Shipping, and Production teams to ensure smooth order flow
Maintain data integrity for purchase orders, order confirmations, and customer info
Review purchase orders for contract accuracy and completeness
Participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Some post-secondary education preferred
Experience:
2 to 4 years of customer service or sales-related experience preferred
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational and computer skills
Effective interpersonal and administrative support abilities

Competitive Compensation:
Hourly pay range for this role is $19.74 to $32.89
