MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Med/Surg experience with completion of Basic Oncology Nursing and Cancer Chemotherapy Course for Oncology and Infusion Clinic. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg and/or Oncology REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
