Salary: 24-28/hrJob description:Sage Recovery & Wellness Center - Austin, 78746PRN positions availableJob SummarySage Recovery & Wellness Center is an outpatient recovery center for adults and adolescents struggling with mental health, alcohol or substance abuse; offering group counseling, couples & family counseling, group therapy and intensive outpatient group therapy programs. Sage is located in Austin, TX approximately one mile west of the Capital of Texas Highway on Bee Caves Rd. in Westlake.Description: Seeking a Group therapist to work with adolescents struggling with substance use and/or mental health. Opportunity to work with Adults, adolescents, couples or families available upon request.Position Title: Program TherapistReports to: Clinical Program ManagerPosition Responsibilities:Facilitate individual and group therapyConduct psychosocial, diagnostic assessments within the 72 hour intake timeframeFill out and maintain client-related paperwork including daily treatment notes, master treatment plans, treatment plan updates, progress-based notes, and discharge summariesHelp clients develop relapse-preventative plans, promote continuity of care/improvement, and assist in the step-down process from treatment; including, but not limited to, referring clients or family members to community resources or specialists as neededMaintain contact with each clients professional and personal support system, as neededCounsel family members on how to understand and support your client through their treatmentAttend weekly staff meetings, consultation meetings, and on-site trainings at regular intervalsMaintain requirements to keep license current (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT, LCDC, etc)Provide coverage at the Westlake location as needed for assessments, group therapy, etcSpecial Skills:Proficiency in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders using evidence-based methodologyKnowledge of efficient and effective treatment and management of clients with chronic mental health and substance abuse issues.Knowledge of 12-step and other sober support groupsKnowledge of evidence-based behavioral assessments and interventions relevant to mental health conditions, i.e., disease model, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy.Experience/ Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Basic or Intensive Training), a BIG plus.Knowledge of basic psychopharmacology and medical terminology.Familiarity with the stages of change and stages of recovery.Case-management skills and knowledge of local resources for outside referrals.Experience conducting therapeutic groups.Qualifications & Education:Texas masters license in counseling, or social work (LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A, LPC, LMFT)Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a plusDegree from an accredited institution, verified by State and/or National boardsExperience with substance use, beneficialHours & Compensation: PRN, Part-time & Full-time positions are available.Pay is based on experienceBenefits available for Full-time positions.Medical Specialty:Addiction MedicineSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekends as neededWork Location: In person
