The OpportunityThis is a hands-on leadership role for a Lead Carpenter who still wears a tool belt but also thrives in planning, coordinating, and leading projects in the field.You’ll serve as the on-site leader—owning quality, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. This is not just a “show up and collect a paycheck” role—this is for someone who genuinely enjoys the craft, takes pride in their work, and leads by example. What You’ll DoLead day-to-day field operations across residential construction projects Perform and oversee high-end finish carpentry work Coordinate and manage multiple trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) Plan and schedule work to ensure efficient project flow and timelines Oversee job site quality with a “Do It Right the First Time” mindset Maintain organization across job sites, materials, and workflows Use BuildBook for project tracking, communication, and scheduling Communicate effectively with clients, trade partners, and internal teams Drive to job sites (company vehicle or personal vehicle) as needed What We’re Looking ForProven experience as a Lead Carpenter in residential construction Strong background in finish carpentry Working knowledge of all major trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and schedule multiple trades simultaneously Strong organizational and oversight skills in the field High integrity, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship Positive attitude and strong team collaboration mindset Flexible, coachable, and open to learning Someone who brings energy, ownership, and enthusiasm to the job—not just doing the minimum Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary ($80K+, flexible for the right candidate) 100% Employer-Paid Health & Vision Insurance PTO End-of-Year Profit Sharing Quarterly Cell Phone Reimbursement Simple IRA with 3% Company Match Additional RequirementsBackground check Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Drug screening Education verification
