Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionOversee all accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activityLead month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reportingProduce monthly financial statements, dashboards, and insights that help leadership make better business decisionsAnalyze cash flow, profitability, job costing, and operational performance to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesManage and develop the accounting team, setting priorities, improving accountability, and supporting growthStrengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliancePartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planningReconcile and connect financial and operational data across systems to improve reporting visibilityCoordinate with outside tax professionals, auditors, banks, and other financial partners as neededContinuously improve systems, reporting, and workflows in a fast-paced service environmentQualifications4+ years of progressive accounting and finance experiencePrior experience at the Controller level or in a strong Assistant Controller-ready leadership roleExperience leading and developing an accounting or finance teamStrong ability to interpret financial data and turn it into strategic recommendationsStrong general accounting, close process, and financial reporting experienceAdvanced Excel and strong systems skillsQuickBooks experience requiredServiceTitan experience strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CMA preferredExperience in a service, field services, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, construction, or similar operational business preferredWhy You Will Love Working Here: You'll join a company where your work matters and your voice will carry weight.
