Hot Stamp Engineer
Coordinate, setup, and improve Hot stamp line jobs(parts) to insure a successful new program launch and improved productivity.
· Inspect Hot stamp die structure for possible issues(heat transfer capability, die strength(life), formability issues, etc.)
· Understand properties of materials, tensile, elongation, alloy layer, etc.
· Able to setup Hot stamp furnace, press machine
· Coordinate Line trials:
o Pre pare machine setup parameters
o Evaluate die safety
o Evaluate die productivity
o Ability to evaluate quality aspects using inspection standards and customer GD&T
o Document all issues and investigate countermeasures
o Able to troubleshoot Mechanical Peripheral Hot Stamp Press equipment
Required skills:
· Understanding of Hot stamp process
· Ability to use CAD (AutoCad, Solidworks, Catia,etc.)
· Able to communicate well with other departments
· Detail oriented
· Strong planning and follow up techniques
· Microsoft Office experience
· Able to Travel overseas for Tachia
Recommended skills:
· Press Machine operation
· Ability to program and operate Robots
· Laser/CNC programming experience
· Jig tuning experience
· Tool And Die experience
