Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.Job Summary:Looking for an engine dynamometer technician with hands-on, automotive experience to setup and operate an engine test cell. The Dynamometer Technician is responsible for engine set-up, test instrumentation, monitoring the test while engine running, performing regular engine health checks, and removal of the engine after test completion. Works with engineers and other support staff to execute customer-based testing.QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent2+ years of automotive mechanical related experienceMust be a self-starterMust have excellent engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skillsMust be proficient with computers, including MS Office applicationsMust have own tools and a rolling toolboxMust be willing to learn and able to work overtime and weekends as neededMust be flexible, eager to learn and have a strong attention to detailMust have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skillsPreferred SkillsAssociate degree or technical training in an automotive related fieldEngine teardown/build skills and able to follow an engine assembly manualAble to perform simple fabrications and assembliesEngine dynamometer controls operation experience or training with AVL PUMA and/or A & D iTestBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
