We provide a safe, supportive environment where children receive skilled nursing care, therapies, and educationoffering families peace of mind and children the opportunity to thrive.We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Contract Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team.Location: Haines City, FL | Lakeland, FLEmployment Type: Contract | Flexible ScheduleSchedule: MondayFriday | Daytime Hours OnlyCompensation: Competitive hourly rate | W-9 ContractorPosition OverviewAs a Contract Occupational Therapist at Pediatric Health Choice, you will work hands-on with children to assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy services that promote mobility, function, and developmental progress. Youll collaborate with nurses, physical and speech therapists, case managers, and families to support each childs holistic growth and health.Key Responsibilities* Conduct therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needs* Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support fine/gross motor development and functional mobility* Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessions* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulations* Educate and support families regarding therapeutic goals, home positioning programs, and mobility strategies* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviews* Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical standards, and ethical practicesQualifications* Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist* Prefer 1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population experience preferred)* Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills* Current CPR certification and ability to pass a Level II background screeningWhy Join Us* Flexible contract schedulingcreate a workload that fits your availability* Collaborative, supportive team environment* Rewarding work with children who benefit deeply from physical therapy* Electronic documentation system* Mission-driven culture focused on family-centered carePediatric Health Choice is an equal opportunity employer.
