As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems. You'll work with a team, providing guidance to apprentices, troubleshooting electrical systems, and adhering to safety and local code requirements. Our suite of benefits reflects our commitment to our employees.Wage:$37 -$50 per hourPaid on-the-job technical and professional growth opportunitiesEstablished career path for future advancement401k and Roth 401(k) retirement savings plansHealth, prescription, dental, vision plansLife & Disability Insurance plansFinancial wellness programEmployee assistance programEmployee discount programsEssential Duties:Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power toolsAdhere to job specification and local, state, and national electrical codesTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, recommending and implementing appropriate repairsTest and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment using testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmetersFollow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codesInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair, and to ensure compliance with local codesDirect and train workers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixturesOversee apprentices as well as provide guidance and leadershipPerform warehouse duties and material handling as neededHandle pre-fabrication duties both on-site and off-site as neededAttend in-house trainingEnsure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA guidelinesAvailability to work overtime and/or irregular business hours as neededPerform other duties as assignedKey QualificationsMaintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations4+ years of electrical experiencePossess the required personal toolsKnowledge of local, state, and national electrical codesSkilled at oral and written communication, planning, and trainingSkilled problem solving and troubleshootingThe physical requirements for this role include:Manual dexterity for use of hand and power toolsGood vision (either normal or corrected) and good balanceRepeated bending, stooping, reaching, working overheadWalking, climbing, standing, crouching, crawling, for periods of timeRepeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds overheadWork from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areasWork as needed in tight spaces, including in manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and atticsPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkPosting Date: This role is accepting applications until 12/30/2025This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
