Details Published: 29 June 2026Department: AssemblyReports To: Director of QualityPosition Type: Onsite - Full-time [40 hours per week]Shift Hours: First 7:00 am - 3:30 pmHourly Rate: $40 - $46 based on experiencePosition DescriptionWe are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team, focused on delivering high-quality electronic manufacturing products. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our electronics through rigorous testing and validation processes, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain quality management systems for PCBAs and electronic assembliesCreate and execute inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and final products, ensuring compliance with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)Lead defect analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventative actions for common assembly issuesMonitor production data, yield, and defect trends using SPC tools to drive continuous improvementSupport SMT and THT assembly processes, control plans, PFMEA and work instructionsManage nonconforming materials, perform audits, and evaluate suppliers including corrective actionsTrain operators and inspectors on quality standards and best practicesEnsure proper calibration of test equipment, maintain ESD controls, follow safety protocols, and uphold 5S standardsPrepare and present quality reports and metrics to management and customersComply with all company policies and perform additional duties as assigned Minimum QualificationsAble to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in EnglishBachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, or a related technical field3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a closely related roleProven experience conducting failure analysis, root cause investigations, and driving Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA), preferably using structured methodologiesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentBeneficial Skills And ExperiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environmentMilitary/Aerospace & High Reliability experience Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assemblyProfessional quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma, or equivalentTechnical Skills And Relevant TechnologiesExpertise in test automation and performance testing Proficient in quality control toolsExperience with document control systems and quality management systemsExperience with root cause analysis and corrective action processesOther Skills And Cultural FitStrong communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamPositive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvementAbility to take constructive feedback and apply it to enhance performanceDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality resultsRequired Internal TrainingHCI OrientationAll pertaining process procedures that relate to job functionPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
