Warehouse Associate DriverThe Warehouse Associate Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role includes loading and unloading goods, verifying inventory accuracy, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. A valid driver's license class C for Illinois and clean driving record are required.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDriving & DeliverySafely operate company vehicles, including box trucks and straight trucksFollow assigned delivery routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations at all timesEnsure accurate and timely deliveries to customersVerify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and report any discrepanciesLoading & UnloadingLoad and unload products using safe lifting and handling techniquesInspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quantity and quality accuracySecure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportVehicle MaintenanceConduct daily vehicle inspections (pre/post-trip)Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure safe operating conditionReport maintenance needs or safety concerns promptlyWarehouse Operations SupportAssist with organizing, storing, and managing inventoryOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (as needed)Support inventory counts, audits, and quality control processesHandle returns, including defective or incorrect merchandiseDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and documentationFollow all company safety protocols and operational proceduresSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to safety and detailReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processesWork EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse and delivery settingFrequent standing, lifting, bending, and equipment operation requiredCombination of driving and warehouse duties throughout the dayRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license (CDL or class C- for air brake qualification) with a clean driving record (required)Ability to safely operate box trucks and straight trucks (Not a Residential Rental Truck)Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding workExperience in warehouse, delivery, or logistics environments preferred
