Job Title: Sustainability Waste CoordinatorLocation: Stanford, CA 94305Duration: 6 MonthsPay rate: $35.00-$38/hr. on W2M-F 8-5pmFully onsite, 20-30% Driving (Car and golf cart)SummaryNeed waste coordinator for Give and Go planning and coordination from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026Waste Operations and Diversion ProgramsSupport waste operations across R&DE properties, including service rightsizing, vendor coordination, waste diversion and monitoring performance.Support strategies to reduce landfill waste, increase diversion, and support donation, reuse, and material recovery programs (e.g., Give & Go, surplus donation). Track and analyze waste metrics, prepare reports, and identify operational improvementsDesign and develop signage, outreach, and communication of sustainability programs to relevant stakeholdersCoordinate with Facilities, Housing Operations, and other units on operational sustainability needs.Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience and excellent communication skills.
