Land Acquisition Manager

Job Description: Assist in identifying new land acquisition opportunities.Conduct research, provide analysis and manage land data.Contact landowners in specific target areas.Gather information on specific sites or areas.Maintain a tracking log of viable tracts and comparable transactions.Follow municipal agendas weekly.Contact brokers on their listings.Establish relationships based on integrity throughout the real estate community.Follow up on leads.Due diligence assistance with zoning and other requirements.Utilize Google Earth and mapping tools.Assist the land team with financial proformas.Perform residual analyses for offer prices.Populate CMAs for product line up.Create reports from market research resources.Assist in preparing LOIs and detailed land packages.Assist with preparing update memos.Requirements: Experience in land acquisitions, planning, and development.Knowledge and existing relationships of/in the local land market.Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports or legal documents.Capacity to plan, organize, manage, and supervise activities of direct reports.Benefits: Remote role; candidates must be based in Central or Eastern North Carolina.Health insuranceRetirement plansPaid time offFlexible work arrangementsProfessional development
