Maintenance Workshop Shift Leader
Maintenance Workshop Shift Leader performs a wide range of tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained. They will work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required. Some of the main tasks include:Supervise, monitor and participate in individual maintenance operations by transmitting the guidelines and standards to the crewEnsure that staff adhere to good safety practices and policiesOrganize and maintain work areasIdentify, report and help resolve obstacles as they occur (examples: material shortages, design anomalies, quality issues and equipment failures)Ensure accurate and timely completely of time and resource reporting records for work carried out during the shift, aided by the maintenance IT systemIdentify opportunities, drive initiatives and promote continuous improvement of procedures, machinery and equipment to optimize safety, productivity and qualityParticipate and contribute to root cause analysis exercisesFollow up on other activities as needed
