Job Title: Packaging Technician II Location: Gainesville, GA (Onsite)Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension)Shift: Day: 5:45 am to 4:30 pm MON-WED and 5:45 am TO 3:30 pm on THURSDAY Hours 10.15 MO-WED. 9.15 THURSDAY Preferred ExperienceTwelve (12) months of manufacturing experienceEquipment troubleshooting knowledge and skillsAbility to follow detailed instructions and proceduresAbility to lift up to 35 lbsAbility to operate a reach truck forkliftBasic aptitude for math and computer skillDescription:Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures to operate packaging equipment (Printers, Coders, Labelers, Vision systems, Tray assemblers, Heat tunnels, Dryers, Forklift, Storage units, etc.)Assists during set up of Packaging equipment (Printers, Coders, Labelers, Vision systems, Tray assemblers, Heat tunnels, etc.)Maintains all waste materials in the proper satellite storage bins.Assists in completing all documentation required to request all products, materials, components, and general supplies required for the day-to-day operations of the packaging department.Accurately performs reconciliations within the batch records of products, materials, and components used in packaging.Education:High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years relevant experience; 3 years relevant experience preferred.
