Shipping/Receiving Associate (First Shift)

Job Description Responsibility/Requirements:· Responsible for packaging, palletizing, staging and shipping all orders· Review and prepare documents for outgoing shipment contents and compares with records (such as manifests, invoices, or paperwork) to verify accuracy and assist in resolving any discrepancies.· Ability to work individually or as part of a team· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently· General physical activities –included but not limited to, walking, lifting, twisting, bending, and standing· Must have reliable transportation as attendance is crucial· Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for packaging parts.· Contact LTL trucks to make arrangements and issue instructions for the shipping and delivery of material. (will include weight, dimensions, and class code)· High School diploma or equivalent· One - two years' experience in a shipping / receiving role desired but not required· Ability to multi-task· Must have experience using and driving a forklift or willingness to learn· Use and understanding of computer programs along with UPS and FedEx, DHL, and International Shipments.· Ability to work with time deadlines for shipments and customer due dates.· Attention to detail1st shift hours: Monday-Thursday – 7:00 am – 5:30 pmBenefits :60 days - Insurance Benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life)90 days – 401K/RothVacation and Flex TimePaid Holidays4 Day Work WeekPay Day Every Friday!Company Description Electro-Spec is a diversified automated electroplating company that utilizes PLC automation for many of its processes.
