Special Education Summer School Program Teachers

From July 7, 2026 - August 6, 2026 - Tues/Wed/Thurs1 Preschool Teacher - 13.5 hours per week1 Intensive Learning Center Teacher (Grades K-2) - 18 hours per week1 Intensive Learning Center Teacher (Grades 3-5) - 18 hours per week.Attend the orientation meeting before the start of summer school.Review and have a working knowledge of each student's IEP.Plan for instruction, and prepare the classroom/learning environment.Prior summer experience is preferred.Must have a valid MA DESE Certification for the appropriate level of instruction.Must possess working knowledge of Massachusetts and federal special education regulations.Experience working with students with disabilities.Good communication skills, excellent writing and grammar skills.Current restraint training is preferred.Provide direct services to special needs students.Record and submit student attendance.Complete IEP progress reports and submit to the Director after summer programming ends.
