Whether you're an expert in data entry, fulfillment, sterile/non-sterile compounding, inventory, or delivery—we have a place for you on our expanding team!We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for our Data Entry department!Job Summary:Data Entry Pharmacy Technicians will promptly and accurately enter prescriptions into our pharmacy system, as well as communicate with patients and medical professionals over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.What You Will Do:Answer phone calls and resolve all customer requests and needsEnter new prescriptions and process refillsAccurately calculate quantities of new orders to send based on requested amount or cycle datesVerify accurate input of all new orders and patient profilesCommunicate directly with the pharmacistPrint Medication Administration Records and Physician’s OrdersComply with all Michigan State rules and regulations.Communicate daily with billing specialists for any overrides and prior authorizationsCommunicate with the nursing facilities and doctor’s offices when neededWhat You Will Bring:We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a patient-first mindset.
