Basic Financial Analyst

Job DescriptionECS is seeking a Financial Analyst (Basic) to support the Missile Defense Agency's Aegis-Based Defense program in Dahlgren, VA.DutiesThe successful candidate will function as a member of a financial team supporting one of the Aegis-Based Program Offices. Duties include, but are not limited to:Prepare funding documents using the DAI Finance & Accounting System.Maintain accounting log (log/status for all funding documents).Conduct financial execution, record keeping, and analysis.Reconcile DAI/1002 status.Generate financial reports.Reconcile unliquidated obligations (ULOs).Resolve unmatched disbursements (UMDs).Build dormant account review - quarterly (DAR-Q) reports.Conducts year-end closeout of expiring funds.Resolves DAI/PRIDE system errors (document issues /status inaccuracies/monitor help desk tickets).Required SkillsProficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Either have, or the ability to obtain, a DoD secret clearance.Associates' or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.Desired SkillsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.MS Access proficiency.#EverforthECS1ECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
