Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in designing, executing, and optimizing performance and load tests across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep proficiency in JMeter, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), performance tuning, and telemetry tools. This role requires an independent professional with strong problem-solving and communication skills who can work across distributed teams and support performance engineering in a CI/CD environment.
Key Responsibilities Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests using JMeter and other performance tools.
Analyze performance bottlenecks, tune applications, and optimize system performance.
Develop performance test strategies, load models, and shift-left testing practices.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, ADO, and Visual Studio.
Monitor and analyze application health using telemetry tools such as AppDynamics, AppInsights, and Splunk.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to provide performance insights and recommendations.
Document test plans, results, and performance benchmarks.
Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
Strong proficiency with JMeter and performance tuning techniques.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Proficiency with GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Visual Studio.
Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools: AppDynamics, AppInsights, Splunk.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills Experience with C#, Selenium, SQL, OctoPerf, and Azure Load Testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD integration for performance testing.
Exposure to Grafana, InfluxDB, and AI/ML-based performance analysis.
Understanding of load modeling strategies and shift-left testing practices.
