DescriptionVeterinary ReceptionistFull-TimeSaint Francis Pet Care CenterTarpon Springs, FloridaAbout YouYou’re a warm, detail-oriented Client Service Representative (CSR) who enjoys helping pets and their people. You’re confident at the front desk—answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, processing payments, and coordinating closely with the medical team in a fast-paced hospital.Your Experience & SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ years of customer service, reception, or front desk experience (veterinary/medical preferred)Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environmentComfortable on multi-line phones, appointment scheduling, and client check-in/check-outAccurate payment processing and cash handlingComfort using computers, tablets, email, and Microsoft Office; able to learn practice management softwareEmpathetic listener with strong problem-solving and de-escalation skillsComfortable working around animals and assisting with safe patient flow as neededBilingual a plusAbility to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance and more than 40 pounds with assistance, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work on your feet and stay on task for the full shift (up to 10+ hours)Preferred: Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and proceduresPreferred: Ability to type 45 words per minute and use a 10-key adding machineResponsibilities (including, But Not Limited To)Greet clients and patients, check them in/out, and maintain a calm, welcoming front-desk experienceAnswer multi-line phones, triage and route calls/messages, and document client communication accuratelySchedule appointments and communicate instructions, wait times, and updates with empathy and professionalismVerify and update client/patient information to support efficient appointment flow and accurate recordsCoordinate closely with technicians and doctors to ensure client needs, messages, and follow-ups are communicated clearlyProcess payments accurately (including cash handling) and assist with estimates/invoices as neededMaintain an organized lobby and front-desk area; support readiness of client-facing spacesYou’ll Grow with UsSkillsHere, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
